The DustBuddie dust control shroud installs fast and easy. The universal attachment system is built onto the dust shroud and simply tightens with a band clamp. Adjusting the height to accommodate different cutting blades or grinding wheels is a simple matter of tightening and loosening three spring-mounted screws.
When grinding uneven or textured concrete or masonry surfaces, you'll like how the brush skirt promotes a smooth gliding motion for better control.
The front lip of the dust shroud is removable so you can grind up against a wall. Snap it on and off with ease. Take the front lip off and add a cover plate, and you now have a dust control system for tuck pointing, decorative concrete cutting and crack chasing.

How you can tell the difference:
When you turn on a regular wet dry vacuum, watch it cough out a cloud of dust from its exhaust port. If it's been used for dust control, or to vacuum up fine dust, it's easy to see. The problem is that wet dry vacuums are designed for saw dust - coarse wood chips, and dirt you'd find on a garage floor. The filter system is not very sophisticated. When you talk about dust control, it's a whole different ball game.
Airborne dust is much smaller and much more dangerous. Breathing dust from concrete, drywall and other construction materials can cause cancer and kill you. The Dustless DustVac™ Wet/Dry Vacuum captures airborne particles down to .5 microns when equipped with a micro pre-filter. That's close to a HEPA vacuum which captures down to .3 microns. A wet dry vacuum doesn't even come close.
The Dustless Wet Dry Vacuum has a patented filter
system featuring a primary and secondary filter, both made
out of machine washable fabric. An agitator rod lets you
clean the outer primary filter without opening the unit. The Wunderbag™ is optional, and delivers many
advantages. An adhesive seal helps you
