An unbeatable one-two punch in the battle against dust when drywall sanding. Both the Turbo Drywall Sander and Dustless DustVac™ are designed
specifically to capture the extremely fine dust created by drywall sanding. It doesn't do you any good to have a great sanding system if the vacuum coughs out fine dust through the exhaust port. Take a few minutes to learn the advantages of the Dustless drywall sanding system. View both online videos!
Reach into tight places.
Unlike the Porter Cable drywall sander, which has a large round head, the Dustless Turbo Drywall Sander has a smaller rectangular head that lets you reach into corners and tight spots. Perfect for kitchens and bathrooms where cabinets, countertops and enclaves make small rooms a big chore.
Lighter is better! Almost half the weight of the competitive Porter Cable drywall sander, the Drywall Sander is much lighter (5 lbs. compared to 8 lbs). That extra three lbs. makes a HUGE difference when you're reaching above your head to sand tall walls and ceilings.
Reach higher! The pole of the Drywall Sander extends to a length of six feet so you can reach high walls and ceilings without getting onto a ladder or using scaffolding.
Save money on sandpaper. The Drywall Sander uses standard sized hook-and-loop sandpaper that costs roughly one fourth the price of the proprietary paper you're forced to use with a Porter Cable drywall sander.
The Turbo difference… The Drywall Sander is powered by the vacuum air pulled through an air turbine inside the orbital sanding head. This simple, brilliant design eliminates the need for a electric motor mounted on the pole and greatly reduces the system's weight. Air is pulled through channels on all four sides of the sanding head to capture 99% of the drywall dust at its point of origin.
Even if you love your Porter Cable drywall sander… Many pros that like their Porter Cable drywall sander for its high productivity on large areas, also use a Dustless Turbo Drywall Sander so they can benefit from the same efficiencies when sanding in corners and tight places such as kitchens and bathrooms.
What you need to know about vacuums... Drywall dust is extremely fine, and most wet dry vacuums are not designed to capture microscopic airborne particles. They are designed for coarse saw dust (wood chips); and drywall dust is a completely different animal. The Dustless DustVac has a patented filter system that captures airborne particles down to .3 microns (with the micro pre-filter). This performance is very close to a HEPA rating (.5 microns). You can see the difference whenever you turn a vacuum on. Watch the exhaust port. With wet dry vacuums, you'll see a puff of dust coughed out when first turned on. You won't see that with a Dustless DustVac. Breathing drywall dust is harmful to your health. Protect yourself at all times. |
